Founded in 1643, Wells, ME, is the third-oldest town in Maine. With miles of sandy beaches, it is no wonder it has become a popular family vacation spot. Located just 33 miles from Portland, ME, 26 miles from Portsmouth, NH, and a little over an hour to Boston, MA, there are many other possibilities to explore.
